Day off so got a long sail in, about 3 hours. Not so windy today. At times
underpowered on my 5.2 rigged full, but generally OK. On the whole the
5.2/Axxis 261 combination was just right for the flatter water/less windy
conditions.
Easy conditions so good for practising. Some nice gybes but not much else
really. Gybes on the inside are coming along quite nicely now, to the
extent that now I expect to make them dry every time. Outside gybes still
need some work. Went for one duck gybe which went big time Pete Tong, but
will try to start going for them again now.
Started to get really tired around 3pm, feeling the effects of a couple of
consectutive late nights, so with the conditions not all that exciting
decided to call it a day. Since not working could head straight to the bar
for the best part of the day on a day-off - the first post-windsurf beer, 2
hours earlier than normal. Bonza.
